Hope you are well.
Happy and Healthy 2018.
Spring is around the corner.
Welcome to the first issue of CharityMATTERS™, our newsletter devoted to Philanthropy, Legacy Planning and Charitable Planned Giving.
Helping worthy causes is the most gratifying work we do.
We help charities raise more money from generous donors who prefer to leave more in charitable legacies and less for the tax department - a win/win by every measure.
2017 was a busy year, during which we assisted in the development of planned giving programs and/or facilitated major gifts for many great organizations, including St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation, The National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Canadian Cancer Society, Jazz.fm, Jewish Federation of Toronto, Canadian Shaare Zedek Hospital Foundation, and others.
2018 will be even busier, as more charities ask for our help developing planned giving programs, and more donors seek our advice on cost-effective and tax-advantaged strategies to support the causes they care about. |

If you live in the Toronto area, you probably know a friend or family member who has been treated at our world-famous Hospital for Sick Children.
It’s a world-class health facility that welcomes patients from around the world, and we are so lucky to live nearby.
They now plan to rebuild it entirely, from the ground up, at a cost of $1.3 BILLION.
The SickKids Foundation recently invited Mark to join their Professional Advisors Council to assist in the largest hospital fundraising campaign in Canadian history.
We are honoured and excited to be part of this historic endeavour and look forward to sharing our creative insurance strategies to facilitate substantial donations and helping to achieve the fundraising goal. |
